Every year hundreds of youth in Utah leave the relative safety of the foster care system as they transition to independent adulthood. Without a good support system, this can be a daunting mountain to climb. Many of these youth end up homeless, in jail, pregnant, or addicted to drugs. Utah Sherpa Foundation is a non-profit organization created to help these young adults navigate this road and carry their loads. We believe that as the community rallies around these youth and provides the support they need, the community will in turn be benefited as these young adults become healthy, successful, contributing members of society.
